~Practice the ancient Chinese art of Wu Wei and discover effortless action~
Wu Wei is a concept in Taoism that literally means non-action. Beings who are in harmony with the natural order behave in a completely uncontrived way – as when the planets revolve around the sun. At first glance, doing nothing could appear irresponsible or lazy – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. To do nothing in a moment of indecision or struggle allows us the space to work through it. Instead of grasping or forcing a specific outcome, we step back and return to neutral. We practice Wu-Wei in leadership training with horses, who respond beautifully to this energy. It releases both horse and human from attachment to outcome – and invites an effortless solution to present itself.
